At present, we have four fully qualified Approved Driving Instructors on our team a further two in training. Our instructors are all listed on the DVSA Find a driving instructor website, please feel free to check their level of qualification.
Paul Whitburn is based in Ashfield, but as our disability specialist he travels further afield when required. Paul has access to manual, automatic fully electric Kia e-Niro which is fully adapted and also teaches in the Drive from Wheelchair (DfW) vehicle. Paul is very experienced in working with the disabled community having completed both training courses with the Queen Elizabeth Foundation. He also worked for some time as a driver trainer/assessor at the NHS driving assessment centre in Derby, Derby DrivAbility.
Matthew Whitburn is also based in Ashfield and is our deaf driver specialist with a good working knowledge of British Sign Language. Matt has a automatic vehicle again fully adapted for disability available to him and covers both Ashfield and Nottingham areas.
Kris Jozefiak has recently joined us with one of our automatic Kia Niro’s which is fully adapted for disability. He is based near Ashfield and also covers Nottingham,
Our dedicated manual instructors are Robin Brown and Pete Solis. Robin is again based in Ashfield and covers both the Ashfield and Nottingham areas. Pete is based in Mapperley and covers the eastern side of Nottingham.
